he'll be defending his work next month, but even with the last three years, kel's a fairly familiar face with faculty. he's in and out of various related departments in between his time spent out at nasa-jpl and has had a reputation for being both someone whose work you want to read and someone who's classes you want to avoid when he's been a TA.
he's also friends with ~groundcontrol outside the campus bounds so while he already knows what his next career move is and a faculty position isn't it, maybe we can sort out some kind of friendship? what are some of his interests outside of academia?
