there is a special place in his heart that haunts him and that special place is called "roles you not only did not get but you completely and utterly failed at" and this one is right up there with the best of them that still can make him feel secondhand embarrassment and at the time it was a whole thing with his manager who he was CONVINCED led him to that interview just to embarrass him. TRULY fun for everyone BUT him
so the main idea is that he's pretty good with turning it on and off when a director yells action & cut but sometimes he has a more difficult time with tapping into more sensitive content and it's in those moments he usually goes off on his own and does some exploration which sometimes means going to the town his character is supposed to be from, shadowing certain jobs, and i thought it'd be fun for someone or someone(s) to come along in those times, throw themselves in it along with him, possibly also do it for when they're feeling a bit stuck and the drama mostly comes in hand when they become really into it with that exploration, be it because it leads them down a path of self reflection or their friends around them are like wtf are you guys doing in michigan when you have to film in a week
