and caroline's family, while nobility, certainly aren't what has come to be expected of high class. so in a way, she would find that endearing, even if it was for rob's benefit and not her own.
while she's reticent to admit it, the opposite is true for caroline. all she can think about is that henry must love her if he's willing to live his life with her in the public eye. add in the fact that she remembers her fondly from her days partying with rob, and she can't fault him for falling in love in her. who can resist someone like that?
