Definitely a slippery slope for this on--because now her family is all about cultivating and maintaining this image of someone that grew out of their rebellious years (even though it was darker than that), and she's still trying to keep it together behind the scenes, which I'm guessing is just as messy as everyone else's private lives. But regardless there's, yes, the pressure to play the part, but also the pressure to be kind of a unit, because you're not just representing yourself, which isn't necessarily Cecily's style. And she sees it come so easily to some people it makes her soooo annnoooyyyeeddd.
