if he's gone to dragon con or any of the local-ish conventions they could know one another through that if you'd like?

yes! he has gone to dragon con pretty regularly for the last 5 years. probably missed one in there somewhere. does the whole thing where he sleeps on the floor of someone's room and pays the floor rate.
