Was raised by her sister mostly along with her uncle who are only 8 to 10 years older then her. Their mother, Bridget, was a rich kid who was flaky, got pregnant and kicked out of home. Dated a lot, got pregnant again, etc. She means well but mostly abandoned her children in her quest for passion and adventure. Would come around when single and pay the bills but the moment a fella caught her eye she was gone again. Kids don't know who their father's are and have accepted this.
By the time she was 4, TC (her future Brother in law) was practically living with them too so she sees him kind of like a dad since he helped Kelly raise her. By the time Kelly went off to college she was 10 and started to learn how to raise herself. While Kelly called every day and came back every weekend, during the week making sure she was fed and went to school and homework done, etc. was up to her.
She's an adult now, around 30, and is still very close to her sister. Not a day goes by that they don't talk. She's very close to her brother in law and uncle too, talks to them weekly. They made it through a very rough childhood together and appreciate their family bonds more because of it. Not to say they don't argue and everything else like families do. They get in tiffs and can be goofy, etc.
