she grew up having issues with opening up. she didn't feel like she could really talk to her mom and dad when she was young, so she shut down trying. she just kept it in until she blew up over something stupid like her dad forgetting she didn't like mustard or the teacher not picking on her to answer a question in class. colleen helped her figure out a way to non-verbally communicate how she was feeling with something silly like if she was mad or stressed out, she should wear her red knit hat. or if she was sad or upset, she could wear a black hoodie. it was something easy to help her open up without forcing her to do something she felt uncomfortable with.
now at 30, she is a travel photographer who definitely marches to the beat of her own drummer. she loves horror and lives for halloween to the point her kitchen has skeleton dish towels and pot holders hanging from the stove all year round. she loves the outdoors and just nature in general, but her favorite thing is finding weird off the beaten path tourist trap type places that are just completely bizarre in all the best ways.
