excuse the c&p: laurent grew up third in line to the throne, which he always considered a blessing because he has no desire to be grand duke, and he feels even better now that his brother’s children have pushed him further down the line of succession. he’s super extroverted - outgoing and gregarious, always the life of the party (and he does like to party), and doesn't really like to take anything too seriously unless it's really warranted. the situation in the sudan? yes. his inability to text back within 30 minutes? get out. he’s always walked a fine with his family/parents and would probably be in hot water with them more often than not if he wasn’t so good at charming his way out of most sticky situations. while he’s never really doing anything remotely bad enough to truly shame them, they hate that he’s a fixture in the press, question a lot of his decisions (his career choices and eternal bachelorhood, specifically) and he’s responsible for most of his father’s grey hairs.
