this could be super, super interesting, and i love it! bea was an absolute terror - thousands of years old and spent most of her life just sort of viewing humans as her playthings, so she spent a lot of time in royal courts and things trying to see what she could get them to do. she had a bizarre change of heart around the 70s after jfk and went a little more soft, went into hiding a little bit and came to portland in the last year because she thought it seemed like a quiet enough town. bea definitely would've been the perfect one to kind of take her under her wing and help indulge that defiant streak for the 40-ish years after she turned her, and because her own sire was so absent and left her to fend for herself and she would've been kind of oddly touched by leah's situation, i could see her sticking around and leaning into a maternal side she thought didn't exist.
