she’s 22 and somehow found her way over to the states from new zealand in january after a mental breakdown and a subsequent desire for reinvention. she comes from a sleepy town called te kaha and has a slew of siblings and half siblings that she often competed with as a child. the quintessential basic country bitch in the city, she probably goes down to the store without her shoes on more often than she wants to admit because it’s NORMAL in new zealand and the last time she cared about what anyone thought of her was 84 years ago, approx. she works at a thrift store while studying astronomy/some science i haven’t decided yet and is a clean hard worker. she's also an artist whose works mostly incorporate a lot of her feelings on her identity as a maori woman, especially now that she lives away from her local community and is scrambling to find a place for herself. identity is very important to her and she's always that loud mouth, large marge and in charge person supporting her friends to be their individual selves. she's basically just a loud, bossy, lanky woman who asserts herself in most social interactions and is the classic mum friend in the middle of her own breakdown and self discovery. she's also part of a small art collective, mostly comprised of woc that means a lot to her. AS FAR AS SCAMMING GOES, she's mostly harmless. she's currently a beneficiary fraud back in new zealand because she "forgot" to unenroll in the university she was studying at prior to coming to the states and is still receiving the weekly allowance via the government. it's kind of a carefully planned and thought out scheme she's running, mostly because she's bitter at how negatively work & income treats her mother lmao
