i do, actually! she's a 30something year old social worker who grew up on chicago's south side, both parents worked and went to school for years, alternating who did what, so there was someone at home to take care of the kids and the other was able to focus on their schoolwork and get their degrees. they eventually both did and uprooted the family to move somewhere a little better with more opportunities for all of them. she ended up getting into child psychology as a means to 'give back' and help out since she wound up with a lot of help as a kid in a bad situation, and it's the closest thing she knows how to do to make some other kid's life a little easier and better. kind of stupidly optimistic and idealistic in some ways because she refuses to let reality crush her, since she couldn't handle that happening, and can be a little type-a personality and uptight. relaxes with some convincing, but definitely needs to be reminded to actually do that.
