very similar career path to kazik's own, then - a lot of incredibly straight and narrow focus on technique and then exploration, stylistically speaking, came afterward. without the foundation there was nothing to build on, and so it goes. he absolutely understands, though - he works for ten, twelve hours on a piece but then, even now, he works basic hand studies and foot studies and ear studies and sits to sketch from life because... you don't just stop doing all of that when you've gotten someplace.
