he's british and he and his spouse have been in austin since the beginning of january, though he was in africa for work for a week of that and has just come back to texas after a week in europe and home in london. at first impression he might seem low key and reserved, but if he gets to talking about something he's into, he becomes very animated. his sense of humour can be sly and subtle, but he's a big nerd in the right company. he's fairly established as a photographer and has had his work in the guardian and other publications, both online and off, and does actually speak at conferences (usually in the adventure activist realm) once in a while (he's got one upcoming in the uk next month). he hasn't had a chance to check out much of austin yet but meeting at an art gathering in the near future would be awesome! even just a chance meeting at a local sidewalk stroll thing would be cool too. he's very easy to talk to and generally interested in people.
