Honest to god, for every arc of the X-Men I've read with Scott being a main character...it felt like he was being written as some ultraperfect dude bro a la Ross Geller who we're meant to like but feel sorry for by being SO overshadowed by his significant other that he just needs a bit of understanding, and then these idiots write him getting girl after girl when he's such a schmuck. Like realistically, I don't believe if they were real people that any of those women would've liked or loved him, but of course they do in the comics 'cause they just can't resist him, but like why? His personality is grating and I've never read anything really that's made me side with him like at all. I once upon a time liked the idea of Scott and Emma, but the more I read back on it...I was like, well what a fuckface.
