I'M SORRY I FORGOT TO GET BACK TO YOU. so the essential gist is this (one day i will put a directory up so i don't have to type this out so many times lmfaoo): he owns glocksmith, a marketing agency that does everything from parties, to events, to music festivals. they're based loosely of yesjulz's 1am creative. they also do artist management, social media marketing, and sort of act as this bridge between cool and conscious for a lot of brands that may struggle to target millenials of color in an effective, authentic way. he started out as a club bouncer and eventually moved to promoting parties before starting the company 7 years ago. now they're a multi million dollar brand with a vlog channel on youtube that is approaching a million subscribers, a clothing line (mostly instagram boutique stuff but they're planning to expand into athletic wear), podcast etc. they've sort of evolved into this internet famous group of young poc go-getters, traveling, making obscene amounts of money, rubbing elbows with ballers and celebrities and living that dream life through the lens of social media. we have about seven characters affiliated with glocksmith in game so she'd sort of have a built-in work family, which translates into a general family because they really are super close and a tightknit group.
we try to do a good job of fleshing out their professions and there's a lot of wiggle room and space to be creative as far as what you'd want her job to be. for example, a couple of the staff went to nyc for two grammy events hosted by glocksmith so there's just a like, do what you want, feel free to make stuff up as you go along, use yesjulz's company as inspiration and have fun!
