~paranormals offers a simple premise, easy entry requirements, and reasonable activity expectations for those who may be intimidated by more developed fantasy settings, who may still want to write with vampires and werewolves (these are the only supernatural character types that we accept).
Our goal is not to compete with other larger and more developed communities, but rather to offer a small space for folk who probably would write in a fantasy setting, if the demands were less daunting.
There are a lot of very well imagined fantasy communities out there, and we encourage you to check them out if you prefer a lot more character types and world-building aspects than we offer!
