They met in college and fell in love. She got pregnant before they graduated, and they got married. He was the parent who stopped going to school to be the primary parent. She finished school and started her career, where she was very successful. He remained at home, to the point where being "the dad" became a big part of his identity. But he loved his role, and was always supportive of his wife's career.
