sharpshooters I've got a firearms and hand to hand instructor coming at you, fancies. She's a former pilot, two years retired, who pushed herself so hard that she's got a twitch like the Doonesbury Cat (she doesn't handle the firearms, and teaches martial tactics from a distance like Miyagi) and relies on a super swanky cane to limp around (kidding, it's a padded piece of rebar, getting a nice one admits it's a permanent thing) and cracks salty zingers like she gets overtime pay for it. It's not deflection. Definitely not. Shush.
I need her former mechanic who reported her to Medical for rapid disintegration, which triggered her retirement. It's awkward. Her best friend from cadet school, with a presently strained relationship because they're in such different places in their lives. A few instructors to carp about life with.
