[30 Nov 2019|04:03am] highhopes welcoming most different species concepts written by players for players. guess I should mention we're slice of life with low fantasy elements and side-wide plots will happen more or less depending on what players want. we're set in the fictional city of High Hopes, North Carolina (based on Ashville) with a section considered little Hollywood for it's low production costs and high production values, so feel free to come play an actress or actor for that matter with credits if you wish. There's also a bustling music scene so play your struggling guitarist with a beautiful voice or the failed jazz musician who can't find a band because it's a bit of a dying genre. or the vampire who plays amazing piano and has written as a contract stipulation he get a bloody bowl of honey nut cheerios after every performance despite the classy bar owner's squeamish stomach. He really hates that vamp dude I imagine. Or hey, the serial killer who only kills based on how well you take care of your nails. Shitty nailbeds? You're dead, man. [30 Nov 2019|05:22am] So it's been like two years and I was randomly thinking of this character and eternally bummed that I never got to do anything with him so I'm fishing. This is JD/Jamie/James. He's a born witch, his family owns a little silly homeopathic/new age store with an herb garden/nursery. Comes from a small town where they're just weird, and not everyone knew what his family was but they sold potions and such out of the back room. Are there any low fantasy/plot type games around with easy requirements and hell idk a lack of examples? I want laid back not something that I'll fear missing a day and everything ever happening or stressing over an app. A PSL is preferred, he used to have a familiar who was a weretiger type. That was cool. Needs not to be sexy, as he prefers to stay a virgin for convenience sake. Which is every bit as ridic as you can imagine. Also debating aging him up and using Colin Morgan as a pb.
