I’ve been away from rp for quite a while, and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed at getting set up and figuring things out w/o my old rp buddies to guide me along. I’m hoping for suggestions for a game with as many of the following attributes as possible: - active community - friendly and supportive of newbies or *coughcough* not-newbies who have just been gone forever and don’t know what the heck is going on anymore - variety of timezones maybe? I have a varying schedule and the woooorst insomnia. - maybe not a super involved application process? (this is not a major deal. I’m just feeling daunted. It’s been long enough that I’ve lost all of my old writing samples for my applications.) - real-time play in a chat program being an option (I’ve never really clicked with rp in comments somehow.)
