Okay, I'm looking for PSLs with: characters who are intelligent, passionate, and have their own point of view - unusual, unconventional, defined by who they are rather than who they're being played against. I'm in this for fascinating chemistry, creativity, and engaging plot layered under some serious relationship fireworks. Darker themes are absolutely okay, outlandish premises are go, tropey genre shit is A+, supernatural settings are my jam - and slice of life is fine, too, as long as we can work out a well-defined dynamic. I love ideological differences, cocky characters clashing, politics, history, and high drama. I only play faces 35+ (some are in the icons; I certainly play others). I have no preference whatsoever re: who I play against, aside from: no shrinking violets, please, and absolutely no D/s dynamics, at all.

Would there be any interest in a fictional mixed residential development in a major US city, with each phase named and designed after a global city? For example, "The London," "The Paris," "The Berlin," "The Moscow," "The Dubai," "The Hong Kong," "The Sao Paulo," etc. We would require precisely, no more and no less than, a paragraph bio for entry, with a pool of secrets to choose from each month. A secret would tie characters together in unpredictable ways, e.g. B is circulating leaflets around the neighborhood promoting professional service. A has gone around drawing Hitler mustache on them. As for activity checks, the goal is to see your character grow and we would want to see that in the form either of a narrative or a substantial update to your character bio. Obviously this is a large undertaking and we are just gauging interest at this time, but suggestions and comments welcome!

I've been having the worst luck joining new games lately, but I'll consider them so long as there is a reasonable set date on when it will open. I'd love to come in with lines, too, as long as said player is committed and doesn't disappear through customs or leave you hanging in game.

edit: so I just came up with this interesting idea. It would require three other people. They would all be in core group, at least two of them. My guy is in love with his girl friend, his girl friend has a boyfriend, which is also Mesha's guy friend, his guy friend is in love with yet another mutual friend. A female. Guy friend still cares for girl friend but he doesn't really love her anymore, he's just with her because he's afraid of hurting her feelings. Their mutual friend, is love in with guy friend but she doesn't do anything because of the girlfriend. Mesha is pretty much waiting around for everyone to get their heads out of their asses, so he can make his move. The girl friend is in love with the boyfriend, but probably not as much as she used to be. Shes gotten comfortable and clings to him.
Basically a quadruple love square. Hopefully this interests some peeps, to better explain.
Male A is in love with female A, but doesn't do anything about it because of Male B.
Female A is the girlfriend of Male B.
Male B is the boyfriend of Female A and in love with female B.
Female B has feelings for Male B but doesn't do anything because of Female A.
