he grew up in queens with ~brighid and dated ~tristen (though i don't know if she's still active!) all throughout high school and up until they were twenty-one. we can definitely do close friends, maybe dating through some of freshman year, if she grew up somewhere else they could have met and been mutually interested and tried to keep in contact a bunch. he was a good kid back in those days but after losing his dad and son he's turned insanely bitter and angry.

	I like that! She lost her mom a few years back which would explain why she puts up with it and wants to help him. Especially if she knew how he was before. Maybe it was one of those things where timing wise it just never worked out for them? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	that could work! it's been a few years for him, too. he lost both in the same year going on three years ago and he fell into some pretty bad addictions with drugs and crap. he's been a little on and off the radar since, usually only coming back around when his mom is trying to get him clean, and that's what's been going on for the last month or so. 	I think Avery would have spiraled out of control if she hadn't gotten pregnant! And she definitely knows that. Maybe despite being off and on the radar they always keep in touch? She'd offer her apartment as a place to stay too. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

he had a few dark moments of not speaking to anyone, but when he came around again he'd either reach out to her or, if they've known one another a while, his mom would give her a heads up that he's back around. the nail in the coffin for des was losing his son at four months to sids and being around kids since hurts a lot, so i don't know if he'd be staying with her much at all (besides that, he doesn't like poisoning any good relationships when he's in a bad place). he has a lot to work out, but if she's ever without her kid he could maybe crash there once in a while!
