it definitely sounds like they're kind of similar in the fact that they have little compassion for people, but i'm thinking he's from savannah from an upper class family, descendants of something like a wine company since his last name's bordeaux, so maybe the relative thing wouldn't work. maybe a short term ex? they could have just ... fizzled out into friends without any drama?
