[17 Aug 2009|09:21am] For once I was actually up early causing me to watch reruns of Saved by the Bell. This caused me to get an idea, but I wanted to see which one I had a better chance of getting as they are sort of two different ideas. The first one is a small group psl with just the characters based around the different characters from the show. They could have as much in common with the character as well as change things around. Once we got the main cast we might add a few other people like siblings, other classmates, and so on. Would anyone be interested? The other idea was just having a line if someone would pick up the male based around the relationship between Zack and Kelly. [17 Aug 2009|12:18pm] Life in Prison Never Sounded So Merciful. Imagine, you're a young man just sentenced to spend the rest of his natural born days in prison in Ohio. Sitting in the back of a squad car when you turn a corner and the guard you're traveling with tell you that right there, is your new home. For 155,000 or so men, that look out the window at the fortress drawing nearer, was your last glimpse of freedom for a very, very long time. For a large group of these men, it was the last sight of freedom they would ever have again, and the beginning of a stay in a sinister place that would outlast your own body. But none of that is included in the brochures. Now there are many people coming in to the Ohio State Reformatory again, this time to take tours and imagine the terrible life that so many young and old men faced inside of those walls. Mansfield's old reformatory has been closed for twenty years, now, to taking in new inmates. But the small group of dedicated individuals who love the building and it's history have all found that some of the inmates never left the building. For a while the souls of the prisoners have coexisted with the individuals preserving their eternal resting place, but some of them are starting to stir. They used to make themselves known to the tours who wanted to find them and now they're disrupting the general building tours, and the restoration that the group is working so hard to complete. There will be love and loss yet, and there will be a point when the living will have to face the dead straight on. Will they stand firm on their investment, or will that which cannot be killed claim victory? Is love and dedication enough to overcome years of torment, grief and hardship? [17 Aug 2009|01:02pm] The mutant gene popped up unexpectedly in 1999 though some would argue it began in 2000. For a while, maybe a year or so this had gone unnoticed but it was only for so long that something so spectacular could go unnoticed. It was in Wisconsin a boy by the name of Sammy Johnson had been spotted flying above his house by one of his neighbors. Immediately the neighbor had done the most logical thing she could do, inform the police. The police investigated, but the boy (and his parents) could not prove anything about this supposed ability of flight. Then, not even a week later a girl was caught turning invisible, another girl was creating acidic poisons with her hands and a newly wed couple was controlling and creating fire. Naturally, the Government had to get involved. They'd gone to these homes and these families to question them about their abilities, and after much deliberating and time the first mutant hospital was created in 2002. Immediately these people were shipped away to the hospital for testing. The term "mutant" had been coined and was quickly applied to anybody who possessed powers. With the knowledge of these mutants out, the human race was now growing to understand the real term of fear.
