WELL he's sorta kinda based ROUGHLY on "Jack" from the show, only in the fact that he's a doctor - well, in training. He's still an intern, but he probably won't tell anyone that right away. Matt can be sorta intense, but he's a pretty good guy. His sister was on the plane, too - she quit her internship to split for Sydney, and he was going to try and bring her back home. that's his one OBVIOUS connection so far haha

i'm gonna be lazy and c/p here: i love that! BASICALLY elle's a decently nice person who's made a lot of poor life choices and is kind of a bad judge of character, a little naive, and a bit 'innocent', but not naive/clueless. she's playfully sarcastic, flirty, and a bit ridiculous, but she's genuinely kind and doesn't dislike people without reason and then she holds grudges like a beast. she was in australia because she was both fulfilling a dream of going there and running away from some of her life problems and was on her way back to deal with them. because she sucks at actually confronting things and would rather pretend they didn't exist it's what she's best at doing. she was the 'other woman' in a complicated situation, THOUGHT she may have been pregnant, and is very 'fml' for reasons that can't be counted now.

She might get on well with his sister, too, since Jade was also running away from her life problems, too. I'm sure they'll get on fine - it might be hard for Matt to trust people right away, but they're kinda all in this situation together, and he'd be trying to help out - since people will probably have at least minor injuries/wounds, and he's got a pretty good bedside manner already.

It sounds like our ladies will get along. What if they are good friends and went to Sydney together? Instead of confronting her mother about quitting the internship, she told her brother that it wasn't working for her and ran away to Sydney which was also her life long dream - to visit Australia. She wasn't too happy that her brother came over to take her back hence why she was on the plane in the first place.

	That could definitely work! Her life was kind of falling apart, a mess, and she couldn't deal ... so she ran. They totally could have been good friends who agreed to run off together because Elle would have HATED to have done it alone. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yes! Elle could have totally been the one to convince Ruby to take a chance, she could have gone on a rant to Elle about her mother and how she wasn't liking the intern program? (but she would have needed that friendly push to go as far as Australia) How long would they have been in Australia for? I'm thinking maybe a couple of months? (Reply to this) (Parent)

	A couple of months would b perfect! Her ranting would have coincided with Elle's 'fml'ness and a situation she got into that she wanted away from, so she was finally like 'You know what? Let's go. We have the money. No plan, but money. We'll figure it out.' and/or surprised her with tickets and they just never went home. (Reply to this) (Parent)
