"Nice shot!" Despite being competitive in nature, Max was never one to be a sore loser. If someone played well, he was usually the first in line to congratulate them - after all, he'd want others to do the same for him. Quickly, he placed his ball on the mat and lined up his shot.
"The whole building, huh? Who else have you met that seemed familiar?" He didn't tack on that he hadn't met any others who could seem like he should know them - there had been plenty of strange things, for sure, which could, in turn, tie together in the end.
Pursing his lips, he swung and knocked the ball down the green, only to have it be batted away by the swinging pendulum. "Darn it, must've counted too fast..." He hurried down the path to finish up his shot and managed a birdie in the end. Glancing over to Lucy, he mustered a smile, waving a gentle hand to encourage her to continue to the next course.
