Dov had to smile a little at that, genuinely, not that fake sort of smile he'd been giving people all afternoon while he tried to snag some money from sympathetic residents. "Uh- thanks, man. Not quite sure what she might do if I went in alone again, ya know? Like, she literally grabbed me by the collar and threw me into the hall last night. Wasn't fun." His hand scratched at the mess of curls atop his head. He still had to wonder how she was that strong.
"Dov Cantor." He chewed his lip, still trying to determine whether this was going to end up a worse situation than it already was. What other options did he have, though? He raised an eyebrow as the other two men conversed. "Oh- shit. Does she go by Charlie? She never uh, said anythin' to me so... I called her Charlotte. Probably another thing that just y'know, made things worse. D'ya think first impressions are that important?" He grimaced.
