Ben was actually on his way home after a night out that had turned into something more; he'd woken up half-dressed on a mate's floor, an unopened can of warm beer still in his hand and a toilet roll clutched in the other. After finally dragging himself up and out, he'd headed back to Pax with a sore head and a fuzzy tongue, planning to shower, change and perhaps get a few hours sleep before getting up to do it all again.
