To Samuel it still sounded like a suspiciously long process, but her willingness to at least skip a portion of the usual lessons made him feel somewhat at ease. Under ordinary circumstances he was not the best at accepting constructive criticism; now, though, so soon after having been soundly beaten, it seemed wise to take a bit of professional, freely given advice.
"Sounds great," he said. "The sooner the better. I mean, now you know where to find me, right? So whenever we're both free, meeting up shouldn't be too tough." He laughed, pushing aside his smoothie, which had in its mushiness now lost the vast majority of its appeal. "Just promise no Rocky styled two a.m. wake-up calls, banging on my door with raw eggs in a Thermos or some shit. That is not on my agenda."
