She couldn't help the way her chest swelled with pride as he recognized her name. Yes, it was nice to be recognized, especially when you had worked so hard to gain said recognition. Grinning, she nodded. "The one and the same," she replied with a wheeze. Forcing her posture upright, as opposed to bent like a tired monkey, she took a few steps forward. "It was pretty good," she said evenly. "Close for a while, but hey. Someone's gotta win."
At the introduction, she blinked. Military? Honestly, that wasn't too surprising. Riley didn't know much about the military, but she knew about the hazing and pecking order. This guy seemed to be all about that. "Nice to meet you too," she said, not entirely lying. "Actually, a shake sounds great," she said with a slight laugh. "God, even sparring just wears you out." She glanced to him with a cocky grin. "That's my way of saying you didn't totally suck."
