"Are you sure?" Lily asked, suddenly weary. She didn't want to be rude, she was trying to avoid that, but the tattoos did fascinate her. To her knowledge Max never gotten a tattoo, her Aunt didn't have one nor did she. She had never really noticed or touched the tattoos of anyone she had slept with either. But looking at Adam she felt that sense of ease once more and smiled. Lightly, with dancing fingers, she brushed over the skin of Adam's arm.
"Oh, I see, it's almost like the skin is raised in some places. Like you could feel the design," She said softly. "But in other places it's smooth, like regular skin." She made a pout, a tendency she had when she was being thoughtful, and gently pulled her hand away from Adam's arm. Hearing his question her attention went back to his face.
"As a teenager I wanted to get tattoos. Butterflies and the sun and all of that. Nature things. I haven't really thought about it since. I guess once I became old enough that I could have actually gone and gotten a tattoo it lost some of it's spark. Although..." Lily looked back at Adam's tattoos briefly. "I don't know, maybe one day I would. Does it hurt horribly?"
