Luc simply nodded and grinned, because as he was about to reply to Lily - well, something dark and handsome walked up. And it happened to catch his attention - not that Lily wasn't an absolutely radiant beauty herself, it was just in Luc's nature to show attention to the newcomer.
Luc could tell by the handshake, though, that the man - Julian, from what Luc could remember seeing in the apartment's forum - was clearly more interested in Lily than he was in Luc. Which was fine; Luc wasn't at all the jealous type. It was good to know these things going in. Kept Luc from making too much of an ass out of himself - and he needed all the help he could get in that department.
"You're Julian, right? This is a wonderful establishment," he remarked, taking a sip of his drink - killing it so that when the proprieter made the offer of comping their drinks, he could order another. Luc was never one to pass up anything free when offered. "I'm Luc Haust. We talked about booking some bands." His smile was genuine, and he took a sip from the fresh glass of whiskey that had been presented to him - he'd ordered this one straight up, since he was drinking on the house. Since he now had a better reason to chase his buzz more seriously.
He fished out a business card from his wallet in his back pocket, offering one to each of them - since Lily didn't have his cell number or anything, and it would be rude to just give one to Julian and not her. And Luc was a lot of things, but rude wasn't one of them. Z. Luc Haust was emblazoned on the front, as well as his cell number and e-mail - but no business title. His studio's street address and zip code were in the bottom right of the back, no name for the studio or city and state - he figured it would speak for itself.
"Give me a call any time you'd like to start figuring out what kind of musicians you'd like to bring here. I work with all kinds - though my business manager would probably have better connections for the kind of crowd you're looking to draw." Because, truthfully, Luc worked mostly with pop stars - since they were usually the ones who didn't compose their own music (at least not completely). And Luc was pretty confident that pop stars weren't the kind of image Julian was looking to put forth - something Luc had deduced from the look of the venue. Of course, he could have been wrong - it wouldn't have been the first time.
"You can call me anytime you'd like to set up our dinner date," Luc added to Lily briefly, then turned againt to Julian. "Would you mind taking us on a tour? I'm afraid I haven't really gotten much past the bar." He chuckled at the confession, because it really just showed how much he liked his booze - and he really wasn't too ashamed of it. Especially now that he was catching a pretty decent buzz.
