Who: Xander & Honey Skye
What: Her imminent arrival
Where: Pax Letale apartment building
When: 6:08 PM
Warnings: Nope
There was only one detail Vincent left out and that was where he lived in the building Honey Skye was now standing in front of. Xander would have picked her up at the airport but her flight had arrived early and honestly she had wanted to wind down from the flight quietly in the back of a cab. Xander was a good many things but quiet wasn't normally the word she'd use to describe him.
She'd paid the cab driver after he'd taken her few bags out of the trunk. She'd arranged to have the rest of her items shipped but they would arrive another day. For now, everything she needed was held within the confines of her luggage.
"You need me to carry the bag up for you?" the driver asked. He had an accent she couldn't quite place. It wasn't Indian...She didn't contemplate it long, he was waiting and she was withdrawing her cell phone out of her large bag. It took but a moment to find it despite all the carry on she'd stuffed in expertly.
The button of the phone was depressed but unfortunately as it flickered on it flickered off. The battery had expired. She gave pause but in the end let the man go, "Thank you...but I can manage." He seemed unconvinced as he let his eyes pass over her small frame.
"Alright then..."he stuffed the money she had given him in his pocket, got into his cab and drove off. When she was left alone on the side walk she started to drag all her belongings over, closer to the building, determined to figure this out despite being uninformed about Xander's where-abouts.
Which leaves us where we were at the start of this post - Being that there was only 3 Penthouses and she was positive that he would not be in anything else she did not give a glance at anything besides. One was labeled with a strangers name and so she pressed the other two that were not and waited patiently for a voice to answer.
