It was something that Naea hadn't particularly thought about since she'd arrived at the apartment. The term of endearment had been so perfect. Her brow narrowed in thought, though not a heavy one. "You know," she finally replied. "I think it's because you are so sweet and so..." The backs of her fingers brushed Kami's cheek. It was so light she wasn't sure she met skin. "Soft. It seems appropriate."
Her insides squirmed uncomfortably as another, less appealing thought came to mind. "If you don't like it, just tell me and that's the last of it." It pained her to consider that Kami did not care for something, that it made her uncomfortable, no matter how innocent it may have been.
