Re: Lucas/Alice - about 9pm - near the doors
"Yeah, kind of like grains of rice," he said, looking a little closer at the beadwork. "So you dressed as Uke Mochi then?" he presumed, nodding and then shrugging. "I guess the mask sort of makes sense for Apollo too, and I'm sure he'd approve of the suit." He didn't know much about the god, hadn't really had conversations with him like others have with their 'visitors', but he just got the sense that the guy would love a well tailored suit.
"Well, besides the campy decorations, this looks like it's turning out to be an extremely normal party," he chuckled, hoping to allay some of her fears. Again, he spared a brief concerned look over at Nish, but she seemed to be in good hands with her friend, so he focused back on Alice.
"I almost didn't come either, but...I wanted to see you." Now it was his turn to be a little awkward. He believed that he was quite bad at these kinds of conversations, but the time seem to have come. "Shall we...maybe go outside? There's less people out there..." The pool was glowing a little strangely, but the stars were bright and clear overhead, and in his opinion, being alone under those shining diamonds would be somewhat romantic.
