Strange, yes, strange was a way to put it. James felt like he'd lived here for eons, but it was merely weeks - perhaps having his body taken over by the Norse goddess which seemed to possess him just made time pass all the more quickly to him, or wore him down. Either one.
"Aye," he spoke on an exhale, agreeing with the fair lady's sentiment. Even behind the mask, the wariness of this party, the concierge, the whole aura of the building could be seen flickering in glacial eyes. "There's so much I don't understand, but I've got the feeling we're not supposed to be able to. At least not yet."
