Re: Isobel/Obed - 7:10 p.m., lobby to party room
Isobel's nose wrinkled, leaning back ever so slightly from the grotesque food offering. She used the opportunity to lean into Obed, her hoop skirts pushed out to the side by his legs.
"And what, have them cater for your birthday? Don't think I forgot," she chided, taking the deviled egg eyeball away from him and taking a bite. A yummy noise made its way out of her throat, her brows rising in surprise. "I know it looks awful, but it actually tastes really good. Unfortunately, I have other plans for you, my sweet," she grinned, eating the rest of the egg and helping herself (and him) to some of the green punch.
She held out the cup, a silvery-pink ring made of vines and tiny flowers encrusted with diamonds clear on her right hand. Isobel smiled at Obed, meeting his eyes, and then looked away at the rest of the crowd. "We should probably mingle, hm? Since I've got you out of your cave for a little while. I don't really see anyone I recognize, though..."
Her gaze fell on a man in a suit not unlike Gabe's sad pass for a costume, his face partially obscured by a mask in the shape of a half sun. It took her a moment, but she eventually recognized the man from the St. Paddy's day party. "Oh, that's Lucas. I wonder why he's not here with Alice... Let's go say hello."
