Re: Kate/OPEN - 8pm - pool area
James needed some air.
Also cartoonish was one fucking accurate way to describe this party, and he found that once he'd sampled the radioactive glowing punch (one spiked, one not - at least not since he last checked, someone could have dumped tequila in for all he knew) and the spoooooky finger foods, he was left with little to do. And with Nishka arguing with him about how he worked too much and didn't see her enough (he just got this bloody job, forgive him for wanting to keep it and make a good impression), well, that sort of cemented his need for space and all things outdoors.
He came across someone else, stargazing it seemed, and god's holy trousers - that dress. It was stunning, she was stunning. "I'm not much of an astronomer, but it's nice to be able to see them," he spoke about the stars, coming up beside his neighbour in his period ensemble he was calling a costume - the mask was mostly gold, touched with a light blue. He didn't think they'd met, but now was a good time to make new friends. "Without much city smog interfering for once."
