Who: Mirza & Shae
What: One very tired young man and his laziness.
Where: Lobby
When: Sometime after midnight leading into Wednesday the 22nd
Warnings: NC-17, apparently. Boy love.

Tired was the only way to describe Mirza at the moment. It'd been a hard night's work and all he wanted to do was crash. There was no euphoria of performing, just a sense of finishing his daily grind... And a whole lot of pent up sexual frustration. Well he watched the other dancers! Of course he watched. How could he not? But either way, he trudged his way into the building and glanced in the direction of the stairs and the elevator. Did he really want to fight his way that far?

Urgh, he supposed he must but... No. No. Just fucking no. Mirza instead dragged himself over to the round sofa-ish looking thing (he didn't know what the Hells the real name of it was and it didn't particularly matter), curling around the backs by laying on the long seat. He was absolutely bound and fucking determined to fall asleep in the lobby just because he couldn't be arsed to get himself into the elevator.

What? He wasn't allowed to be lazy? Well too bad. Work had been awful. For him anyhow as he refused to lower his morals to earn extra cash. The joint he worked at was sleazy. If he could have gotten up enough cash, he would have opened his own club and run it his way. Made it a classy place where the dancers were protected and paid well enough that they wouldn't feel pressured to do things they didn't necessarily want to do... It was a nice dream but that's all it would ever be. He wasn't much of a business man unfortunately...

"Mirza, you say? Never heard 'dat name befo'...sounds exotic." Shae turned his attention from the dark-haired enigma at his side and reached into his jacket pocket, digging for rolling papers. "'Course, everyt'ing here's so exotic 'dat not'ing is, if you know what I mean."

Once all the items were assembled, he began to roll up a new cigarette using his thigh as a surface. Yes, he'd conveniently forgotten to introduce himself, but he had a feeling this Mirza would be able to sweet-talk it out of him. Anyway, wasn't that part of the game?

Something about his companion irked him, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. Not so much the woman herself, but...well, maybe that was the problem. Shae was absolutely the observant type, and he knew there was something missing; something vital, even. He briefly wondered what sort of surprises he might find beneath Miss Mirza's clothes were he to look, and whether or not he might actually be that surprised.

"S'been a long day, n'est-ce pas?" he offered as he lit up and took a quick, short puff on his cigarette, followed by a more satisfying drag. The cushions were comfortable enough, and now that he'd sat down, the idea of moving seemed unappealing. Instead, he reclined against the backrest and closed his eyes.

"Mebbe I'll join you here fo' awhile, Miss Mirza. Nevah been one to turn 'way attractive company."

Calling his name exotic was kind of an understatement. There weren't a whole lot of people Persian / Arabic names in the building. "Ah but if everything is so exotic that nothing is, doesn't that swing it right back around to being exotic again and visa versa?" Yes, he was purposely trying to confuse his companion.

Mirza had noticed the lack of introduction but what the Hell, he'd made friends with less... Had sex with less even. So for now, he let it slide. Perhaps if his curiosity really got piqued, he'd flat out ask. But there was far more to the game than just names.

"Mm-hmmm," he agreed, so tempted to lean his back against his new smoking companion. It was terribly interesting how he seemed to insist upon rolling his own cigarettes rather than buying them. That didn't make them anymore healthy but at least there wouldn't likely be rat poison in them. "Well, a long night anyhow. I'm rarely ever up in the day. Sunshine hardly agrees with my profession."

More alluding to whatever it was that he did. How long could that go on before the stranger asked? Well, Mirza would find out.

At once again being called Miss by someone, he laughed. It was so funny how often that happened - of course, he hadn't exactly helped dissuade the notion. Still, with that, Mirza turned to properly face the stranger, "Then I'm sorry to very likely disappoint. You see, Mirza is an Arabic name meaning Prince." Now was the moment to tell how badly that bothered the Cajun even as he took another drag from the cigarette.

Shae listened to this reasoning with a smile and a nod. "Isn' dat how it is sometimes? All or no'ting? Ei'der way, dis accent still soun's outta place."

It was interesting how quickly this stranger seemed to be warming up to him, not that he minded in the slightest; he was almost ready to offer his lap as a pillow. He'd never been the shy type, anyway. It was the accent, that's what usually did it- just enough drawl to be charming and endearing rather than off-putting. Shae absolutely took advantage of that fact.

Ah, so this was part of the game, too, was it? Miss Mirza seemed to be dangling the proverbial carrot in his face- who was he to ignore it? "It's hard to b'lieve anyt'ing could disagree wit' you, ma cher. Da night shif' always makes life difficult."

Mirza's revelation was enough for Shae to pause mid-drag, and he turned to give the newly designated Mister a more thorough inspection. Adam's apple? Check. Total lack of funbags? Double check. Pretty brown doe eyes? Mais oui.

"...is dat so?" The grin that split his face said more than any words could have. "Well now...do I look disappointed?"

Mirza laughed, shaking his head a little. As if to either combat or agree with the Cajun drawl, he affected a perfect Egyptian Arabic accent full of rolling R's and things that would make paranoid people think Terrorist, "Sooner or later, you'll assimilate, my friend. And then no one will be any wiser."

It wasn't anything that was out of place for him. Mirza was just a friendly people person. If he were a cat, he'd be one of those lap cats that you can never get away from. The ones that wanted to be in your newspaper when you were reading it.

There were only a few professions that could get him out all night and include him getting on his knees - stripper, prostitute and janitor to name a few... None of them were particularly glamorous.

The handsome Cajun seemed to freeze for a second at the revelation that Miss was Mister though he responded to either. So funny, every time that happened. And knowing what would come next, he affected a shy smile, looking at his knees for the obvious look over.

Mirza glanced up at the Cajun, unable to suppress his own grin, "Lovely." And about time if he had any say on the matter. Too many heteros! Again Mirza turned, but this time he rested his legs over the other man's lap rather boldly, "So tell me, Mysterious Cajun... Is there any such thing as breakfast gumbo?" He bit his bottom lip, trying so hard to keep in a giggle.

"Mmm...mebbe some day," he returned, eyebrow quirked at the impressive display. That was certainly an accent he hadn't heard very often; it almost seemed to have a feline quality to it, as though it were being purred rather than spoken. Or maybe that was just Mirza. "'Den ag'in, I haven' lived in N'awlins fo' ova ten years...guess I jes' won' let it go."

Shae could do nothing but shake his head and smile as his newfound friend decided to settle in and make himself comfortable...right across Shae's lap. Again, not that he minded at all- it was surprisingly comfortable. And warm, too. The chilled air in the lobby had a bit less bite to it now that he had a human heating pad. He resisted laying his arms atop Mirza's legs, although he was sorely tempted to test for ticklish spots; he settled for crossing his own legs instead.

There was a few moments' pause after Mirza's suggestive little quip as the words sank in- and then Shae leaned his head against the backrest and just laughed.

It was very likely just Mirza. He wasn't certain he would describe his father as having a feline quality to his voice after all. Or any of his aunts or uncles or cousins that all lived in Cairo... And hated them all for not being Muslim. Pff. "Yeah well, I've never lived in Cairo so I never had an accent to lose. I'm such a cheat," he grinned, shrugging his shoulders.

Very likely it would be a bad idea to search for ticklish spots even if he could find them... Mirza was a kicker when he was tickled in certain areas. A squirmer for other places. With the way the Cajun was so comfortable with him, Mirza scooted forward so he was close enough to settle a hand on the other man's shoulder, practically on his lap now. What? So he was easy...

He pouted at his little suggestion was received with laughter but he didn't move away. "Oh c'mon... it wasn't that funny."

Shae was certainly comfortable in his current position- and who wouldn't be, with such a pretty little distraction hanging off him like that- but he tensed ever so slightly when Mirza's hand suddenly migrated to his shoulder. The other man was dangerously close to having a handful of .38 Special, and his reaction to that might be very, very good...or very, very bad.

"Careful 'dere," he warned, a trace of laughter still in his voice. "You might jes' git more 'dan you can handle."

Mirza's eyebrows rose up towards his hairline as his expression changed to curious surprise. "What ever do you mean by that?" It was a shift in his body weight that answered him when he leaned a little more heavily on Shae's side. Oh, he'd felt that before. An ex...

"What are you? A cop? An assassin? Do you have handcuffs? Answer the last one first." Yes, he really thought the handcuffs were way more interesting in Shae's job or the reason he needed a gun.

Shae blinked for a few moments before laughter claimed him again. Was this guy for real? He couldn't remember the last time someone had reacted so casually- no, strike that, so enthusiastically- to the presence of a gun. Maybe there was a bit of unspoken kink here.

"Yeah, I got cuffs," he answered dutifully, trying to quell his laughter and failing miserably. "But I'm no cop, and I' never killed nobody before." He only hesitated a second or two before tugging aside his jacket and exposing the revolver tucked away in his shoulder holster.

"I's loaded, but da safety's on. You can touch if you wan', I don' mind." Well, there was an open invitation if he'd ever heard one.

Casually, yes. He was definitely casual about the presence of a gun but he was kind of used to them being around. The bouncers at the club usually at least arrived armed though they generally disarmed once on the clock. And hell, man, everyone in this part of the fuckin' state was armed.

And... okay, maybe a bit of kink but mostly for the handcuffs. Shae's laughter made Mirza laugh not at all offended by it. It was a very giggly sort of situation. He bit his bottom lip lightly, watching Shae shift the jacket around to expose the gun neatly in its holster.

Mirza was going to take advantage of how open that invitation was and instead of reaching for the gun, he hooked his thumb into the waist of Shae's pants rather boldly, arching an eyebrow, "Just how... loaded are you?" He stuck the tip of his tongue out between his teeth at Shae, grinning broadly. Oh he was tired so he was feeling goofy.

Mm, was that a challenge? Shae was growing increasingly interested with this new acquaintance, and that interest was very likely beginning to show. He could feel the sharp curve of Mirza's thumbnail against the skin of his belly, and he shifted a bit beneath the touch.

"Pull da trigga an' find out," he returned, daring the other man to continue. He'd started this game, after all; may as well play it out to the end.

It might have been a challenge. It might not have been. It all depended on whether he was up for the challenge or not. Mirza was already quite attached to Shae as evident in where he was sitting on him. And quite "interested" as well.

He laughed at the innuendo, grinning broadly, "Oh darling... Not in the lobby. Too many eyes and I've had enough people watching me tonight." But despite his words, he shifted to sit straddling the other man's lap, resting his hand flat on Shae's stomach under the cloth of his shirt. The other arm went around his shoulder, holding the cigarette out of the way. His movement was ridiculously fluid and well practiced. He pressed the length of his body against the other man's, leaning in close to let lips brush against lips, "But it really depends on how bad you want me to."

The touch of Mirza's skin was cool against Shae's stomach, and he wriggled at the unexpected sensation. This was definitely not how he'd envisioned his evening; a couple of beers and some late night infomercials, maybe, but that was only because of the stress-induced insomnia he'd known would be plaguing him. But this...well, he definitely wouldn't be sleeping now.

His cigarette had long ago burned away to ashes, and he didn't even notice as it fell discarded to the cushions beside them. He braced an arm against the other man's back, as if in preparation for a move. The fluid grace with which his companion moved wasn't lost on Shae, and he pulled back fractionally from their embrace to look him in the eye.

"'Dere may be anot'er pair of eyes on you t'night," he returned, the dark brown color of his irises deepening to a much blacker shade. Then, "Where?"

Making Shae wriggled was one of his goals - anything that could make the man squirm was a good thing in his opinion. It wasn't exactly how Mirza had envisioned the rest of his evening going either. Sleeping, crashing, pretending to not exist until the next evening... Now his nerves and his senses were on high and there was the potential to relieve all that sexual tension that he'd built up over the night.

His too was mostly ash but he wasn't paying attention to it. It was just natural to keep it away from a person's body. He licked his lips lightly when Shae pulled back, arching an eyebrow and smiling slightly, "Eyes without a name. How familiar." Where, where, wherever where... That was the important question.

"My place is on the fourth floor," he offered, closing the distance between them to kiss the other man's jaw with a light touch - not demanding but simply seeking the feel of his skin. He didn't know whether Shae's apartment was closer or further but, well, he supposed he'd find out.

The corners of his mouth quirked up in a small smile. How familiar, indeed.

"Shae," he blurted a little belatedly, apparently unwilling to become just another nameless lay. They lived in the same building, anyway, so there wasn't much in the way of anonymity- and no point in creating unnecessary awkwardness. "My name is...Shae."

The gentle press of lips against his skin was enough to spur him into action, and he abruptly withdrew from the contact. The movement seemed a bit brusque, but in a matter of seconds he had displaced Mirza and risen to his feet, grasping his new companion's wrist and tugging him a bit impatiently in the direction of the elevators.

They'd barely made it inside the elevator car before Shae had the smaller man pinned against the back wall, hands wandering as he used his lips to become much better acquainted with his new neighbor.

Mirza was actually surprised that he offered up a name. It wouldn't be the first time that he'd had a face but no name and lived in the same building... "Shae is a very good name," he noted a bit dumbly but smiling. How could one be expected to say anything intelligent when one was more focused on the fact that one was horny as hell?

He was startled by the sudden withdrawing motion, wondering if Shae had come to his senses and had decided that no, he wasn't going to do the Guy/Guy thing. It had happened to him before. But all thoughts of rejection were tossed aside like his dead cigarette as he was pulled to his feet and he followed to the elevators. Oh this was going to be a very interesting night indeed.

Once the doors opened he was not at all surprised to be pinned against the wall though he did have the good sense to hit the button for his floor before he was unable to. Mirza wrapped his arms around Shae's neck, twirling dark hair around one finger. He was all too receptive the touch of hands and the press of lips, pulling Shae as close as he could possibly manage in that short ride up...

...a short ride, indeed. Shae had managed to blindly locate the hem of Mirza's shirt, and his fingertips had just grazed warm skin when he heard the sudden 'DING' signalling their destination.

He ignored it. Even as the doors began to slide open, he didn't bother to separate from his companion; if anything, the realization that they were thisclose to being homefree only excited him more, and he pressed a frantic kiss to Mirza's lips with enough force to jar the other man's head against the wall with a light thud.

Okay, so he was a little eager. It wasn't unusual for Shae to be assertive- and sometimes downright aggressive- in these sorts of situations, and he was doing his damnedest not to go straight for Mirza's zipper. Not that his resolve would probably last very long, especially not with the solid, tempting body pinned against him.

That ding was really annoying him but at the same time, he really rather wanted to drag Shae out of there and down the hall so they could get to the "good stuff" as it were.

Mirza made a soft startled noise as his head thumped back a little but didn't get particularly upset about it. Instead he sort of chuckled into the kiss, a bit more controlled as he returned it. Eager was an understatement.

To be honest, he rather liked the aggressive ones. They were so much fun but Mirza was surprisingly strong enough to push Shae back enough. It was his turn to grab the other man by the wrist and when he pulled, it was out of the elevator and down the hall. His apartment was waiting for them, the door beckoning...

All he had to do was manage to fish the key out of his pocket which he was trying so hard to do.

Eager was absolutely an understatement. Shae couldn't quite remember the last time he'd been this hor- okay, well, there was that girl at the convenience store...oh yeah, and the guy over at the gun range, he'd almost forgotten about that one...

Anyway. He grinned against the back of Mirza's neck and slid his arm around the other man's waist from behind.

"Need a han', ma cher?" As if to make things even more difficult for Mirza, he dipped his fingers enthusiastically into the pocket as well, making sure to grope and squeeze more than was actually necessary to locate a simple key.

He was almost as bad as Mirza if they were being honest here... He could have had a lot more if he had ever decided to whore himself in the club but he preferred pleasure for pleasure's sake rather than for money.

Having the feel of a solid body against his back was so distracting. He wanted to arch back against Shae, grind against him, be fucked right in the hallway... That would be so traumatizing to his one neighbor.

Shae was not helping that feeling and Mirza pressed his ass back against that firm body, moaning softly. Those fingers could search and tease all they wanted. "Key," he finally managed to mumble, producing the item from the pocket which Shae wasn't molesting. He shoved it into the lock and unlocked the door, dragging Shae inside.

The apartment itself was one of the smaller units and while it wasn't entirely unpacked yet a decided theme was starting to show. It was very Arabic with complicated patterns and lovely colors, animal prints and pillows with all kinds of tassels. Even his bedroom was like that with a four poster bed and gauzy white curtains that could be drawn shut by untying the tassely ropes.

It was about this time that he actually forced himself away from Shae, turning around to grin at him, "You lock the door - all three..." Yes, he had three locks for a mixture of security and stall tactic to keep a person busy. With that Mirza literally ran off deeper into his apartment towards his bedroom, leaving a trail of clothing items mostly in the form of shoes, socks and his shirt.

It left him only in pants and the twin golden rings that pierced his nipples which were connected by a thin golden chain - a remnant from his dancing that night. And it left him enough time to at least settle himself on his bed, stretched out straight with his hands behind his head like he was on display.
