Alexandria's eyes were wide when the large newcomer looked at her - Sergeant Samuel Wolfe - and she squeezed Adam's hand even as she reached for Momoko's. A sort of warmth was spreading through her, a sudden and strange sense of well-being, and she watched as the Sergeant dragged the anonymous man away. Well, not anonymous. He must have had a name. God told the angels to teach man the names of all things. That's what the Qur'an said. The Bible said God told man to name all things. She couldn't remember what the Torah said.
It occurred to her then that she probably not ought to be around so many people just then.
"Can we go home?" she asked, squeezing each of her friends' hands affectionately. Right after, though, she thought better of it and asked, "Or maybe we should stay and dance..."
