She laughed again, though their new proximity forced her to look up at him with a little grin. It was nice to be getting his goat for once.
"I like Sam," she told him, tapping one slender finger on the center of his chest. "Samuel is so formal, so distant. Sam is friendlier. Cute." At that, she arched a brow and grinned, shifting a little bit to put just a sliver more space between them.
"Also," she said, "I don't believe you." She grinned and picked up her drink. "You probably can't dance at all, and are ashamed, so you have to make fun of any music you might be able to dance to to hide your ineptitude." She smiled and leaned forward. "Don't worry, Sam. You're secret's safe with me."
