The pierced and inked young man - who was really very handsome, in his androgynous, hard-looking way - smiled back at her as he slid her her drink and took away Samuel's glass. Turning back to Samuel, she took a sip of her drink to cover the heat in her cheeks and her hand, that little rush that wouldn't quite let her be. She was appreciative when he started to speak, and she smiled up at him without even meaning to, without even thinking about what he said. If she could have stepped away from the situation, she would have laughed at herself, but as it was, she just said,
"You can dance to anything with a beat, Sam." She took another sip of her drink, and gave him a little half-smile. The secret to any song is finding the rhythm and following it. Do you dance often?" she asked as the bartender served up Sam's drink.
