Re: By the stage
Alexandria gave Mo a half-smile - a rare little expression that few people outside her family and close friends ever saw. The interview with Mo had taken place in the early days of Alexandria's graduate studies, before she'd really formed much of a thesis. In the end, Alexandria decided against using her interview with Mo, and ended the professional aspect of their relationship in favor of the personal part. She met the other girl's gaze with an understanding and warmth, and perhaps a little humor at Mo's choice of words.
"She did. And I'm sworn to secrecy." With a slender finger, she made a little cross over her heart. Her purple-tipped nails tapped the table in an unconscious mimic of Adam's little tic, and she said, "So we're all in Pax, which is convenient and odd," she noted. "And all funnily connected," she noted. "Are you all moved in, Adam? What about you, Mo?"
