Re: At the bar
Paul hadn't been to a place like this in quite some time. He was more outgoing in college, attending numerous parties and even hosting them, but lately he had been more of a shut-in. And had been content to be accompanied by The Discovery Channel on Saturday nights.
But in all actuality, he was kind of tired of that. So now was the perfect opportunity to get out and socialize a bit. He didn't want anything ridiculous to happen. He just wanted to drink and hang out with people from the building - and he wanted to see Cassie again, of course. Their date had went so well earlier that day.
Paul recognized everyone at the bar, surprisingly, so he headed over there to see if they had room for one more. "Evening, fellows," he said, smiling at them all as he slid in next to Vince and ordered a gin and tonic. Liquor before beer, you're in the clear! Or something. That was probably a load of horseshit. "Drink until you can't feel feelings anymore? Wow, that's deep."
