Individually Locked
Locked to 503

Please make sure that the "GIRL SAVAGELY BEATEN IN PARK" story is run in tomorrow's paper. I want it in all the papers, and turned into a report on the 6:00 news. I want to include the quotes from the police and from witnesses who heard the screaming. We're inspiring panic and disgust with the assailant here and this is just the beginning of his descent into his own personal hell, courtesy of me.

Thanks, doll! Are you settling into Pax Letale alright?

Locked to 1007

He beat her into a coma. Who beats their sister into a coma?

Oh, right. David's kid. Would love to see how many galleries are actually willing to showcase his art after this.

I hope he rots in jail. And then kills himself so he can rot in Hell instead. He'll be begging for death after I'm through with him

Locked to P3B

I apologize for not getting back in touch sooner, it's been quite hectic as you can imagine. But I really would love to extricate myself from my office and converse with my neighbor. How do you feel about crepes?

Locked to 102

You've been suspiciously quiet lately.

Yes, it's going remarkably smoothly, actually. Thanks for asking. How's the new place coming along? Do you want me to come by to help with settling in details?

As for the other, what is this about, Pierce? Who was beaten? I can contact the police department to get the story, but it sounds like you have the inside track on this one. What happened?

Good! Glad to hear it. I saw your brother moved in as well, that's certainly something. My new place is fine, amenities and furniture's all in but it still looks like a divorced workaholic lives there. If you have time to come by, that would be appreciated. I'll put all my swords away for dignified company.

My niece Her name is Olivia Aura. She's a friend of Billy's. Well, a friend of mine too.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Pierce. I'll get the salient details and put something together, then get the calls made.

[smiling slightly as she types]
As for your new place, I guess if I can't convince you to start dating and take it easy at work, the least I can do is make it look like you do occasionally.

I'll be by in the evening mid-week; how's Wednesday?

Perfect as usual, love. Thank you.

Dating? Do people still do that?

Wednesday sounds great. I'll probably leave work early anyway, so I can get to the hospital before visiting hours are over.

You're welcome, of course. ♥

So I'm told; especially very eligible bachelors like yourself!

All right, text me when you're leaving and I'll meet you at your place.

Ha! You flatter me so. What's the trend these days, OKCupid?

Will do, my dear. You've got your work cut out for you. I might just turn the tower into a pub.

Oh, definitely not. I'd look into some of these matchmaking services I've been reading about for affluent singles. They're supposed to be quite good.

[laughs to herself]
This does not sound like a wise plan.

You've been reading about matchmaking services for affluent singles? Is this all just 'research' for your dissertation or are you attempting to land a sugar daddy?

See, you talked me out of it already.

[laughs out loud]
I think if I wanted to land a sugar daddy, I've made several major errors in life choices.

And this is why you keep me around!

Hmmm. Really now. I'm onto you, young lady. I'd answer an ad (after getting drunk, of course) and it would be you who would show up at the bar and it'd be Awkward City: Population, Two.

Well, yes, that and other reasons.

The unimaginable awkwardness is enough to make me abandon my nefarious plans. But seriously, a date wouldn't kill you. You might like it.

I know, I know. There aren't many girls as clever as I am who can type 95 words per minute and make the perfect cup of coffee.

[headdesk] I'll let you know if anyone expresses interest. You can help me pick out what to wear.

That coffee is perfect. Nate thinks so too, but he's a lot gruffer with his praise. The grunt means he approves.

It's like a separate language other than English. It's taken me about thirty years, but I've got most of it down pat. You're a clever girl though and are good at dealing with the cranky old men before we've had our morning coffee.
