She presses on with her script.] Well, the Ocean Institute is an education center located here in Dana Point with our focus on marine science, marine history and ocean and coastal environmental programs. Our chief goal is to increase understanding and awareness of the ocean environment and help protect its future. We're funded through state and city grants but we do still rely on the generosity of individuals and companies that support our efforts. [A pause and a breath, just to see if she's completely bored him.]

I'm pretty forgetful actually, thanks for reminding me. Yes, the call is about the Ocean Club and money for all the manatees and mermaids.

Fine, let's get technical.

How exactly does your organization increase the awareness of the general public about the horrible, heart-breaking issues of the wax-poetic state of the ever-increasingly threatened purity of the ocean? Does my money go to research, searching out the wreckage of the titanic, pirates gold, Atlantis, after school programs?

Our immersion style programs are for both educators and students of all grade levels, but we open our doors to the general public on the weekends as well. Our programs are conducted on site in one of our many labs or out on the ocean in one of the ships in our fleet. We try to highlight the beauty and majesty of the sea, of all the life teeming within the waves, to showcase what will be lost if we continue down the destructive paths we set ourselves on. Our funds and donations are allocated in various directions to further our mission, such as helping maintain our research vessels or adding equipment for our staff to continue their research or to aid in their teaching.

[A beat.] We don't pay our sunken treasure staff. We feed them sandwiches and they get to keep whatever booty they find.
