Mid-April, 2008: beatrice & rox_vixit
WHO; BEE & ROX
WHEN; Mid-April, 2008
WHERE; Rox's apartemtn in Serith
WHAT; Bee has been keeping an eye and ear out for any information of Thadius, but all she has heard is vague and terrible news. She has no idea of how to get in contact with Caleb, Rox, Julian, or anyone else that was supposed to have been in the city when the Wave hit. She digs around her apartment until she finds the key that Rox gave her, and heads over to her apartment to see if she can find anything.
RATING; PG-13
Jeb was not about to let her go wandering off into the unknown, back to Thadius, to find out what happened to Caleb and the others. He did not want to tell her that he was probably gone, but just like he knew in his heart that Bee was safe while he made his way back to the city, maybe she felt something that her brother was safe, too. It was now just a matter of finding him, and the others. Bee promised that she was not going to go running off, swore it up and down, and began to dig around in her apartment for the key that Rox had given her way back when. Maybe there was something that she could find at the apartment that would let her know that they were all okay.
Getting across town was not completely easy, but it was not terribly difficult to do on a bike. One of the guys would give her a lift, as Jeb was busy, and she could easily make one of the younger guys wait outside for her. The whole way over, Bee's mind was running with thoughts, as it had been on the increase since Jeb and the others came back with stories of the conditions in the west. The wind in her dark hair, the sun blocked by her glasses, Bee could still smell death in the air in some of the areas in the city. It was still bad, but there was hope.
When she got to Rox's apartment, she asked Shakes to wait until she came back down. Uncertain of what she was going to find, she made it quickly into the building and up the stairs--safer bets than the elevators, electricity and machinery wigged her out--into the hall of Rox's place. Outside of the door, she looked at the number, the peephole, took a deep breath, and put the key in the lock.
