Finally Married.
Who: Zahira Abd Al-Musawwir/Blaze, Vincent Cruz, & whomever they are dragging along as witnesses.
When: The Thursday before The Wave hit.
Where: Serith, Arillius; Around Town.
What: Vincent fools Blaze into going to get married without telling her so she won't have time to go on and on about how she's not getting to have a "real wedding."
Warnings && Ratings: PG13 as they have mouths on them most of the time.
Thursday was supposed to be a good day. Vincent had hinted at it earlier in the week in that sweet and sexy way she loved. He had wrapped his oily, sweaty arms about her and told her in that lovely tone he always used that she was to be his Thursday. To her, this meant clear out her afternoon because he was going to be home early. Blaze liked that idea. Liked it a lot. Especially now that they were engaged. That whole thing had upped her mood a hundred-fold and she'd fallen into the habit of being sickeningly sweet to anyone that came into her presence. She hadn't even fought with Vince as she seemed to still be riding the high from his proposal even though she'd really only told Jin. The most amazing thing was the simple fact that she'd been able to keep herself as tight-lipped as she had considering how enormous the news was for her. Honestly, she was probably trying to make sure Vince didn't back down from his proposal. Taking himself off the market probably wasn't a good idea, but technically he'd been attached to Zahira for so long that most women understood that she would probably rip off a limb if they got too close to him. Most, not all. That was why she got so angry and jealous when he wasn't where he was supposed to be. The Jinn took a hot bath and some time to primp herself up for her soon-to-be husband. She fixed her hair, painted her nails, and put on a small amount of make-up. She didn't want too much because it might get smeared all over everything if he wasn't careful. Blaze also pulled on a good dress just because she knew he liked it when she looked nice. It, of course, was something that he could get off easily if he really wanted. Her idea of the evening was entirely different than his, but she didn't have to know that. What mattered was the end result. |
