Remind me again why no one's putting a stake through this one when it's the big weight on the death side of the survival versus death scale? Pleading to a thing with no soul doesn't look like it's doing more than firing that damn vampire up to do exactly what everyone's trying to avoid.

Won't be a body left when the staking's done, so dress it up how you want. Get its goddamned TV people to blame it on some crazy fan who kidnapped it. Frame a vampire gang we'd be taking out anyhow and play the publicity angle.

But the way I see it, that thing's number is up.

Vampire would be the smartest target if people want some vampire-negative publicity. Frame a nest we'd take out anyhow, do the job ourselves, let the vampires take the heat, then get rid of them like we would have anyhow.

Another option's creating a fake fanatic to blame for the killing. Get's the job done, but doesn't turn the tables back of vampires in the media.

You ever sat and watched any of that show? It might appeal to dumb as brick civilians, but to vampires that is a candy-coated mockery of the demons they know they are. Young, stupid, rash vampires kill because they don't like that blonde moron or the show. Or, hell, just for shits and giggles. They're vampires.

My only concern is that leaving this damn vampire alive means that mouth keeps right on moving. All the good publicity in the world won't change that.

Not since she killed a slayer. I can think of more exciting ways to fry my brain cells.

At the same time vampires often have this stupid idea of taking over the world. They very well could see Harmonys show as a way of helping them out.

It's not that I don't agree, because I do, but there can't be any flaws in this. I don't really feel like giving Twilight what he wants and Faith and I being dragged off sooner than expected.

We don't need them to see a damn thing. All we need is to set up a group to take the fall for the work we'll do and people to see it and eat it up the same way they do with the Slayers.

But your choices are either counter the flaws you think there are, think up another plan or sit back and let the future come to you on time.

She keeps talking, it will come and anyone who doesn't know it is a fool.
