Human nature. It's a common reaction as old as time itself. When faced with a threat, whether present or possible at some future point, people tend to want to cast them as far away as possible. Or end it. Or drag them to a church on a rainy night with the intent to kill you And.. hello, I'm Damien.

It probably won't change. People can be a bit irrational when it comes to things like this.. you know with the "getting out" part. And you don't even have to do anything here to get that reaction. I think it's similar with that Davis guy.

And doing good stuff, that probably won't matter.. they'd still not every trust. Some of the heroes are like that. One can do good deeds and such for all time and they'd still come back with a snarky insult or still want the head on a platter. And all based on something one did before back home, or maybe something they're supposed to do based on an old, outdated book.
